Postbank Xpress

The affordable, convenient and reliable local money transfer service offered by Postbank. This service is available in all Postbank outlets countrywide and no account is required to receive or transfer money.

Postbank Xpress money transfer services terms and conditions

·          The Service is offered by Kenya Post Office Savings Bank (Postbank).

·          Service transaction can be sent and picked up at Kenya Post Office Savings Bank (Postbank) locations.

·          Senders are advised not to send money to persons they do not know.

·          The money transfers are available for pick up by the recipient, subject to hours of operation of the paying locations.

·          Funds will be delivered within minutes from the time the transaction is posted subject to hours of operation of the paying location.

·          Sufficient proof (National ID, Passport) may be required from the sender and receiver. A recipient must produce identification and the send code upon collection of funds.

·          Payments will be issued out in cash to the recipient.

·          Each Postbank Xpress transaction will be subject to a commission as per a tariff guide available at any Postbank agent location.

·          If payment is not done in 45 days, Postbank will refund the principal amount of the money transfer upon adequate identification of the sender and availing of a stamped send form.

·          In no event shall Postbank be liable for damages for delay, non delivery, non payment or underpayment of this money transfer, whether due to the fault, error or omission of Postbank, or its representatives for more than the transfer amount and the consumer fee paid by the sender, except otherwise as provided by law. No liability is accepted for variance or service delays due to local regulations or causes beyond the control of Postbank. In no event shall Postbank be responsible for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages.

·          Postbank will use the information provided in the send and receive forms in order to provide you with payment transfer service. Postbank may store your personal information on its databases for purposes of administration of ongoing relationship with you. You have the right to request a copy of certain personal information that Postbank Xpress holds about you, and to require Postbank to correct inaccuracy in that information.  Postbank will not share your information with third parties except as required by Kenya law and anti money laundering laws and regulations. Your provision of personal information is voluntary. By completing and signing the “to send” and “to receive" forms, you expressly consent to Postbank use of your information for this purpose.

These terms and conditions have been prepared, and will be executed in English language, which shall be the governing language for all purposes. Any translation into a language other than English is solely for the convenience of the parties.
